Extract Video Frames works on the file you upload. Adjust the options, then select Process ▸ and it runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server — then shows the result in the Output panel.
Inputs
- Video file — upload a file (video/*); it is read locally in your browser
- Frames per second to save — choose one — One every 5 seconds, One every 2 seconds, 1 per second, 2 per second, 5 per second (default: 1 per second)
- Maximum frames — choose one — 20, 60, 120, 300 (default: 60)
Output
A downloadable ZIP file — use the Download button in the Output panel.

{ } Limitations
- The maximum is a real cap, not a suggestion: extraction stops there and says so, because the frames are all held in memory before being zipped.
- Frames come out as JPGs, which are lossy. For pixel-exact stills, use the thumbnail tool at a specific time instead.

How many frames should I ask for?
Fewer than you think. One per second is enough to see everything that happens in most clips, and 60 frames of a minute-long video is already a large ZIP. Raise the rate only when you need the detail between seconds.
