- This reports the stream properties the media engine reads — container, duration, codec, sample rate, channels, bitrate. It does not list ID3 tags, so title, artist and album are not shown.
- The output is the engine’s own text as it prints it, meant for reading rather than parsing.
- Nothing in the file is modified. This tool only reads.

Why are the artist and title missing?
Because this reads the stream information — what the audio actually is — rather than the tag layer where those text fields live. The stream information is what tells you whether a file will play and how it was encoded.
